Synopsis

The weight of a son's unthinkable act crashes down on a father's carefully constructed life. After Eddy, a young man consumed by addiction, takes a police officer's life, his father Jacques steps forward, determined to save him. Jacques masterfully presents a narrative of mitigating circumstances, almost swaying the grieving widow. However, the media soon unearths Jacques's own shadowy past as a former gangster, threatening to unravel his desperate attempts to protect his son and expose the hidden truths surrounding the tragic events of *Comme un boomerang*.
