Elephant Walk

Synopsis

Amidst the verdant, sprawling tea plantations of 1950s British Ceylon, a young bride arrives, fresh from England, to join her wealthy planter husband. The isolated estate, aptly named "Elephant Walk," presents a stark contrast to her former life, immersing her in a world both exotic and unsettling. As she navigates the complexities of her new home, she finds herself the sole white woman, facing cultural divides and the unspoken tensions that simmer beneath the surface of paradise. The jungle, with its ancient rhythms and imposing wildlife, becomes a silent observer to her journey of adaptation and the blossoming strains within her marriage.
