Synopsis

Something is terribly wrong in Santa Mira, California. Dr. Miles Bennell returns to his quiet hometown only to find his patients gripped by a bizarre delusion: their loved ones, they insist, are not truly themselves. While dismissing these claims as mass hysteria, a chilling pattern emerges. Pod-like organisms are found, each an inert replica of a human being, growing to replace people as they sleep. The very fabric of identity unravels as friends and neighbors become emotionless impostors, driven by a silent, insidious alien will. Soon, the terrifying realization dawns: the invasion is not coming; it has already begun, and Dr. Bennell might be the only one who can stop the complete takeover in *Invasion of the Body Snatchers*.
