Rush Hour

Synopsis

When the daughter of a Chinese consul is abducted in Los Angeles, Hong Kong detective Inspector Lee is called in to assist the FBI. What he finds instead is the boisterous LAPD detective James Carter, assigned as his handler to keep him out of the FBI's way. The two clash spectacularly as their wildly different approaches to police work and culture collide, forcing them into an unlikely partnership against a dangerous criminal underworld. This 1999 action-comedy, *Rush Hour*, delivers a fast-paced blend of martial arts and comedic banter as they race against time.
