Synopsis

The year is 1868, and a wave of inexplicable maritime disasters has sparked whispers of a monstrous sea creature terrorizing the the oceans. As the world grapples with this mystery, a U.S. Navy expedition, including the esteemed Professor Aronnax, his loyal assistant Conseil, and the harpooner Ned Land, is dispatched to investigate. Their vessel, too, falls victim to the enigmatic force, but they are dramatically rescued by the Nautilus—a technological marvel captained by the reclusive and brilliant Captain Nemo.
