Synopsis

The true story unfolds on Jersey, a British isle under Nazi occupation in World War II. Food is scarce. The population suffers. Louisa Gould makes a choice: she shelters a young Russian POW, a dangerous act of defiance. Every day is a risk. Trust is a luxury. Her family faces betrayal and starvation.
