La Grande Vadrouille

Synopsis

Occupied France during World War II sets the stage for the comedic escapades of *La Grande Vadrouille*. When a Royal Air Force bomber is shot down over Paris, its crew parachutes into enemy territory. Their desperate bid for survival inadvertently enlists the help of two unlikely French civilians: Augustin, a mild-mannered painter, and Stanislas, a famously temperamental orchestra conductor. What begins as a reluctant act of hiding Allied airmen quickly spirals into a madcap chase across the French countryside, as the bumbling duo attempts to smuggle the British crew to freedom, narrowly evading German forces at every turn.
