Synopsis

The untamed American West of the 1860s sets the stage for *The Dead Don't Hurt*, a tale of resilience and survival. Danish immigrant Vivienne Le Coudy builds a life with Holger Olsen in rural Nevada, a sanctuary disrupted when the Civil War calls Holger to arms. Left to navigate a rugged landscape alone, Vivienne must contend with a corrupt mayor and a powerful rancher whose violent son harbors a dangerous obsession with her. It's a fight for independence against a backdrop of lawlessness and prejudice.
