Synopsis

The year 2020 was a global event, a collective experience of unprecedented change and uncertainty that many were eager to put behind them. Now, from the creators of Black Mirror, comes a comedic look back at the twelve months that reshaped everything. Through a series of mockumentary interviews, a range of eccentric characters — from bewildered historians to disillusioned tech moguls — attempt to make sense of the dizzying array of events, from lockdowns and political upheaval to cultural shifts. "Death to 2020" invites viewers to revisit the absurdity and occasional glimmers of hope that defined a truly unforgettable year, all while pondering if we truly learned anything at all.
