Grosse Pointe Blank

Synopsis

Professional hitman Martin Blank finds his solitary existence thrown into disarray when an assignment forces him back to his sleepy Michigan hometown of Grosse Pointe. The timing couldn't be worse: it's the eve of his 10-year high school reunion, an event he’d rather avoid than attend. Amidst dodging rival assassins and navigating a bewildered federal agent, Blank confronts the ghosts of his past, including his estranged family and the rekindling of a complicated romance with his high school sweetheart, Debi. As professional and personal chaos collide, Grosse Pointe Blank offers a darkly comedic look at one man's attempt to reconcile a life of violence with the mundanity of suburban nostalgia.
