Synopsis

In the wake of his triumphs in Foshan, Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man establishes a new school in Hong Kong in 1949, hoping to share his martial arts philosophy. However, his arrival upsets the delicate balance among the city's established martial arts masters, who demand he prove his worth. Yip Man 2 plunges into a vibrant, competitive world where skill, respect, and tradition collide, challenging the grandmaster to defend his honor and his art against formidable new adversaries.
