Le Gendarme de Saint-Tropez

Synopsis

In the sun-drenched French Riviera, the unyielding Gendarme Cruchot is ecstatic about his promotion to Saint-Tropez. His arrival, however, swiftly injects a dose of chaotic discipline into the laid-back coastal town. Cruchot's strict adherence to the rules clashes spectacularly with the local culture and even his new superior, Sergeant Gerber, creating an uproarious struggle for order amidst the relaxed vacation atmosphere.
