Synopsis

In the 1980s, the Dickson family struggles to acclimate to their new, unusual Southern town. Teenager Aurelie's fervent desire for a perm leads her not to a professional salon, but to a cut-rate beauty school. This seemingly minor decision spirals into a series of comedic misadventures, testing the family's resilience and their tenuous grasp on fitting in, all while Aurelie's hair faces an uncertain, permed future.
