Synopsis

Life for fishing boat captain Baker Dill is a tranquil, if monotonous, existence on a secluded island until his past resurfaces in the form of ex-wife Karen. Her desperate plea for help, involving the violent new man in her life, thrusts Dill into a morally ambiguous plot. As he grapples with the dark request, the fabric of his reality begins to fray, suggesting that there's far more to Karen's story, and perhaps his own, than meets the eye in the gripping thriller, *Serenity*.
