Viy

Synopsis

In the early 18th century, English cartographer Jonathan Green embarks on an ambitious scientific expedition to map the uncharted reaches of Eastern Europe. His journey takes an unexpected turn when dense fog leads him to a remote village, shrouded in an eerie silence. The isolated inhabitants, with their unsettling rituals and a peculiar faith rooted in the land, appear strangely detached from the outside world. As Jonathan delves deeper into the mysteries of this forgotten place, he uncovers ancient superstitions and a dark force that threatens to trap him in a nightmare woven from folklore and fear, testing his scientific resolve against the supernatural in *Viy*.
