Bin-jip

Synopsis

In Kim Ki-duk's **Bin-jip** (also known as *3-Iron*), a solitary young man finds an unusual way to navigate the world: he temporarily inhabits the homes of strangers while they are away. Eschewing possessions and words, he eats their food, sleeps in their beds, and subtly improves their lives by performing small repairs or laundry before moving on unnoticed. His nomadic existence takes an unexpected turn when he discovers one house isn't empty, but occupied by a reclusive woman escaping domestic abuse. This silent encounter sparks a profound, unconventional connection between two lost souls, exploring shared solitude and unspoken understanding.
