Synopsis

A young man's fervent patriotism takes a life-altering turn in *Born on the Fourth of July*. Raised on a bedrock of American ideals and eager to serve, Ron Kovic volunteers for Vietnam, only to return to a nation starkly different from the one he left. Paralyzed and disillusioned, his fight for freedom transforms into a battle for truth and justice for veterans like himself.
