Cialo

Synopsis

In the intriguing Polish drama *Cialo* (Body), a young woman named Olga grapples with anorexia and finds herself committed to a psychiatric facility. There, she encounters Anna, an unconventional therapist who holds a peculiar belief: she can communicate with the deceased. Anna, convinced that Olga’s late mother is reaching out from beyond, urges her to partake in a spiritual session. What unfolds is a nuanced exploration of grief, faith, and the fragile line between delusion and genuine connection, challenging both characters – and the audience – to re-evaluate their perceptions of reality and coping with loss.
