Day Shift

Synopsis

The seemingly ordinary suburbs of Los Angeles conceal a nocturnal world of ancient predators, and a secret society sworn to hunt them. For J.J. Perry's *Day Shift*, follow Bud Jablonski, a working-class dad whose unassuming pool cleaning business in the San Fernando Valley is merely a front. His true calling, and the source of his precarious income, lies in staking out and eliminating vampires, a dangerous trade he pursues to provide a better life for his quick-witted daughter. When financial struggles threaten to derail his efforts and push his family out of state, Bud must find a way back into the exclusive — and lucrative — International Union of Vampire Hunters, facing skeptical colleagues and deadly fanged foes along the way.
