Synopsis

On the bustling shores of Haeundae Beach, a popular tourist destination in Busan, local fisherman Man-sik leads a quiet life. The sea, once his livelihood and passion, now holds a painful memory. Four years prior, a devastating tsunami claimed the life of a colleague during a fishing expedition, a trauma that has kept Man-sik from returning to the open water. He now runs a small seafood restaurant, determined to leave his past behind and build a future with his long-time girlfriend, Yeon-hee, even as the ocean's unpredictable power continues to loom just beyond the horizon.
