Synopsis

Can familial bonds withstand the relentless pull of individual lives and long-held resentments? That's the poignant question at the heart of *Hanging Up*, as three very different sisters grapple with their ailing father's final days. Georgia, a high-powered magazine editor, is perpetually juggling work and a demanding social calendar. Eva, the devoted homemaker, finds her meticulously ordered world fraying at the edges. And Lisa, the struggling actress, is adrift amidst her own anxieties. As their father's health deteriorates, the women are forced to confront not only his impending absence but also the complex, often fraught, dynamics that define their relationship with him and each other.
