In the Land of Blood and Honey

Synopsis

Amidst the brutal conflict of the Bosnian War, a Serbian soldier, Danijel, finds his loyalties tested when he encounters Ajla, a Bosnian woman held captive in a camp. Their connection runs deeper than the current hostilities; they knew each other intimately before the war began. As the lines between enemy and ally blur, *In the Land of Blood and Honey* explores how personal history battles against the dehumanizing force of war. Their rekindled bond forces them to confront the devastating choices and moral compromises exacted by a society tearing itself apart.
