Synopsis

Inspired by actual events, *Life of a King* chronicles the remarkable journey of Eugene Brown, an ex-convict who, after years behind bars, returns to his old Washington D.C. neighborhood. Grappling with his past, he finds an unexpected path to redemption by establishing a chess club for at-risk youth, hoping to equip them with the strategic thinking necessary to navigate the challenges of their own lives.
