Mississippi Burning

Synopsis

In the incendiary summer of 1964, a tense quiet descends upon a small Mississippi town after three civil rights workers vanish into the night. The FBI dispatches two agents, the seasoned, cynical Anderson and the earnest, by-the-book Ward, to investigate the disappearances. As their conflicting approaches to justice clash amidst a deeply entrenched culture of fear and racism, the agents uncover a sinister conspiracy far more widespread than they anticipated. *Mississippi Burning* plunges viewers into a powder keg of racial injustice, exploring the fraught path toward uncovering truth when an entire community is complicit in silence, and the fight for human rights sparks a firestorm of resistance.
