Rambo III

Synopsis

Retreating from a violent past, John Rambo finds a semblance of peace in Thailand, helping a Buddhist monastery and engaging in underground fights. His tranquility shatters when Colonel Trautman, his former commanding officer, seeks his help for a dangerous mission in Soviet-occupied Afghanistan. Despite initial refusal, haunted by the specter of past betrayals, Rambo is compelled to act when Trautman is captured and tortured by the ruthless Soviet forces. Journeying into the war-torn landscape, Rambo confronts the brutal reality of the occupation, witnessing firsthand the suffering of the Afghan people. The fight against oppression becomes deeply personal, reigniting his warrior spirit and setting him on a relentless quest to rescue his friend and confront injustice.
