Synopsis

The Convert transports viewers to 1830s New Zealand, where the arrival of a British preacher, Thomas Munro, sparks an unexpected spiritual and cultural awakening. Initially tasked with ministering to the first European settlers, Munro's path soon intertwines with the formidable Maori chief, Maianui.
